Overview
- Unofficial early voting returns show Alejandra Salinas leading Dwight Boykins 56.6% to 43.4% in the citywide race for At Large Position 4.
- The Nov. 4 special election set up the runoff after a crowded field, with Salinas at 38,183 votes and Boykins at 37,887 across Harris, Montgomery and Fort Bend counties.
- Salinas reported raising more than $700,000 as of Dec. 5, while Boykins’ last filing in October showed about $140,000 in contributions.
