Overview
- Late May case listings from accessory maker iFunSmart, reported by iPhoneSoft, show product images and measurements intended for an Apple foldable and include a long rear cutout with two camera openings.
- Published estimates drawn from the listings put the expected device at about a 5.5‑inch outer display, a 7.8‑inch inner display, roughly 9.5 mm thick when closed and about 4.5 mm per half when opened.
- The iFunSmart cases are marketed with N52 magnets for mounts and wallets but the leak does not confirm whether the foldable iPhone will include Apple’s MagSafe magnets or other internal components.
- A leaked dummy video shared by Sonny Dickson shows a reportedly much wider and unusually thin Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 mockup, and Samsung is scheduled to hold an Unpacked event on July 22, 2026.
- Taken together, the early accessory templates and the dummy suggest shifting foldable proportions and a possible competitive response from Samsung while key details such as telephoto cameras, chipset, RAM and final price remain unverified.
