Overview
- The pedestrian was struck on The Vale in Ealing by an e-scooter traveling westbound at about 2:30pm on Friday, according to police.
- The rider briefly stopped, abandoned the scooter, and fled on foot toward Acton, the Met said.
- The victim was taken to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition.

- The incident comes days after a separate fatal e-scooter collision with a bus in Peckham, with 2024 UK figures recording 1,312 e-scooter collisions and six deaths.
