EA Launches EA Advertising to Serve Dynamic Ads Inside Its Sports Games

EA says a Frostbite-integrated ad server with an SDK will deliver real-time stadium signage, overlays, branded challenges plus privacy-safe measurement for advertisers.

Overview

  • Electronic Arts has publicly launched EA Advertising, a new platform that lets brands place dynamic, real-time ads inside EA Sports titles using in-game signage, scoreboards, broadcast-style overlays and playable branded challenges.
  • The product includes a proprietary ad server and software development kit built into EA’s Frostbite engine to serve ads, report impressions and provide engagement metrics to advertisers.
  • EA is rolling out an advertiser interface and an EA Sports Partner Program to speed campaign deployment and reduce the custom work historically required for in-game integrations.
  • The company cites past partnerships with Visa, Lowe’s, Red Bull, Xfinity, Peacock, Mountain Dew and Chime and shared internal metrics such as challenge completions and matches played to show demand.
  • EA positions the platform as an alternative channel for brands chasing sports audiences while noting that the engagement and privacy claims are company-reported and have not been independently verified, which could invite calls for third-party measurement or regulatory scrutiny.
