Durazo Inaugurates Santa Ana Vaccine Center, Bolsters Schools on Northern Sonora Tour

Overview

  • The new Regional Vaccine Center in Santa Ana strengthens the cold chain, ensures timely vaccine availability, and improves emergency response with specialized cold rooms and modern logistics.
  • The facility will serve 27 northern municipalities, including Nogales, Caborca, Cananea, Agua Prieta, San Luis Río Colorado, and Puerto Peñasco.
  • In Ímuris, the governor delivered computers to USAER units 67 and 146, tablets to USAER 146, and a full multisensory classroom to CAM No. 19 for students with special needs.
  • A total of 983 Beca Sonora de Oportunidades scholarships were disbursed, representing 2.16 million pesos.
  • Durazo also reviewed construction of the Magdalena de Kino civic auditorium, funded with 14.2 million pesos for stage one and 10 million pesos planned for stage two this year, while citing 3,666 million pesos invested since 2022 and a 1,000 million peso scholarship allocation for 2026.
