- Sales are limited to dealerships in New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune, with deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of March 2026.
- The newly developed 449.6cc single with Desmodromic valves is reported at roughly 63.5–64 hp and 53.5 Nm, with some outlets citing a rev limit of 11,900 rpm.
- The bike uses an aluminium perimeter frame with fully adjustable Showa suspension offering 310 mm front and 301 mm rear travel, Brembo brakes, 21/19-inch wire-spoke wheels and a quoted 104.8 kg wet weight without fuel.
- Electronics include traction control, launch control and engine-brake control plus two riding modes, all configurable via Ducati’s X-Link smartphone app over WiFi.
- It is not street legal and follows race-level service intervals, and it enters the market at a higher price than KTM’s 450 SX-F and Kawasaki’s KX450 in India.
