Dubai Launches 'A Dubai Invite' Rewarding Residents Who Bring Visitors

The city aims to boost inbound tourism and support hotels by issuing verified hosts digital benefit packages that guests can redeem through the end of the year.

Overview

  • The Department of Economy and Tourism rolled out the 'A Dubai Invite' programme offering residents benefits worth more than AED 3,000 for nominating non‑resident friends or family who arrive between July 20 and October 31, 2026.
  • Residents must register guests on the Visit Dubai online form before travel and arrivals are automatically verified through government systems before rewards are issued.
  • Eligible hosts are UAE citizens or residents aged 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID and may claim up to three benefit packages while each nomination can include up to five visitors.
  • Benefit packages, due to be issued in August and largely redeemable until December 31, 2026, bundle hotel nights, dining deals, attraction tickets and transport offers from partners such as Meliá Desert Palm, ME Dubai, Mina Seyahi hotels, IHG, Careem and Hala.
  • The scheme follows months of regional conflict that dented visitor demand and complements earlier government relief measures for the hospitality sector; visitors remain responsible for flights, visas and accommodation, and registration closes on September 30, 2026.
