- Dubai's Crown Prince said the first air taxi station near Dubai International Airport is complete and set a 2026 public launch.
- The four-storey site has two pads, charging for electric aircraft, climate-controlled lounges, and capacity for about 170,000 passengers a year.
- The vertiport will act as the main hub with additional stations planned in Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina.
- A trip from the airport to Palm Jumeirah is expected to take about 10 minutes by air versus roughly 45 minutes by car.
