Overview
- Druski, announced Thursday, April 30, will host the 2026 BET Awards and become the show’s youngest emcee at 31, edging past Kevin Hart’s prior mark.
- The ceremony airs live June 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be simulcast on BET, BET HER, CMT, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central and TV Land.
- In a statement, Druski said he will bring his trademark characters and “a little chaos” to the stage, matching BET’s promise of fresh, culture-rooted humor.
- Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the broadcast, with Connie Orlando, Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay serving as executive producers.
- The appointment follows his rapid rise through viral sketches, tours and big-name collaborations, and comes after a March parody that drew nearly 200 million views on X and prompted online backlash and a rumor his representative later debunked.
