DRI Busts Disguised Alprazolam Plant in Andhra Pradesh, Seizes 237 Kg

Officials say the Kondapalli site posed as a chemical unit to run an industrial-scale illicit operation.

  • The intelligence-led raid, codenamed Operation White Hammer, was executed on March 11–12 at the Kondapalli Industrial Development Area in NTR district.
  • Officers recovered over 800 kg of key raw materials, 2,860 litres of chemicals and industrial equipment including reactors, driers and a centrifuge.
