Donovan Strauss to Attempt Truck Series Debut With Niece at North Wilkesboro

Niece Motorsports announced Thursday that 20-year-old Donovan Strauss will try to qualify its part-time No. 4 for the July 18 NASCAR Truck race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
Veteran crew chief Mike Shiplett will lead the debut effort from the pit box.
Strauss, a Mooresville, N.C., native, thanked the team and backers and said he will prepare to his absolute best for the chance.
Competing in the zMAX CARS Tour, he finished ninth in 2025 points with a best of seventh at Caraway Speedway, bringing late model experience to his first national start.
He becomes the fifth driver to wheel Niece’s No. 4 this season after Cleetus McFarland, Ben Maier, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Connor Hall, showing the truck’s role as a one-off and development seat.
