Overview
- Firefighters were called at 11:46am on Monday, January 26, to a three-storey home on Tremont Road in Llandrindod Wells, Powys.
- Crews from Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Knighton used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and thermal imaging to extinguish the blaze.
- Engineers isolated the property’s gas and electricity after crews confined the fire to the kitchen and living room on the ground floor.
- No people were inside the property, and firefighters removed a deceased dog and returned it to the owners.
- Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service attended, crews left at 2:23pm, and neighbours received home fire safety advice.
