Dodge Finalizes 2026 Charger Lineup With New R/T Sixpack at $49,995

The model replaces the 5.7-liter Hemi R/T with a higher-output twin-turbo inline-six, signaling Dodge's shift in its muscle-car formula.

Overview

  • Orders are open now for two- and four-door versions, with dealer deliveries expected before quarter-end and a $2,000 premium for the four-door.
  • The Sixpack 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six makes 420 hp and 468 lb-ft, comes with standard all-wheel drive featuring an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode, and is rated at 23 mpg combined.
  • Performance tops the outgoing 5.7-liter Hemi R/T with a 0–60 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a 12.9-second quarter mile, gains of 0.5 and 0.6 seconds respectively.
  • The R/T completes a range that also includes the 550-hp Sixpack Scat Pack and the 670-hp all-electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which Dodge calls the only four-door muscle-car lineup in production.
  • Dodge CEO Matt McAlear says SRT will continue and is developing factory upgrades for the Sixpack, while reports of a revived Hellcat V8 or the shelved Banshee EV remain unconfirmed.
