Overview
- Dobbies is staging free Little Seedlings sessions on Sunday, August 2 at multiple garden centres including Swindon, Carlisle and Sandyholm.
- The August theme, 'Summer Sun vs Shade', will show children which plants prefer sun or shade and explain how sunlight helps plants make food.
- Each session will include practical hot-weather care tips, games and quizzes, and every child will make a suncatcher to take home.
- Places are free but limited and must be booked in advance through Dobbies’ events page at www.dobbies.com/events.
- The workshops are part of Dobbies’ monthly Little Seedlings programme aimed at getting children outdoors and bringing families into the company’s national garden-centre network.
