DLSS 4.5 Leads ComputerBase Blind Test Over Native TAA and AMD FSR 4 at 4K

The community poll of identical 4K clips reflects subjective preference rather than a technical benchmark.

Overview

  • Across 6,747 total votes, DLSS 4.5 received 48.2% (3,249 votes), native TAA 24.0% (1,619), FSR 4 15.0% (1,013), and 12.8% (866) reported no discernible difference.
  • DLSS 4.5 topped every tested title, with its largest margins in Satisfactory (60.9%) and Horizon Forbidden West (56.3%), and a narrow edge in Cyberpunk 2077 (34.4% vs. native’s 32.4%).
  • The blind comparison covered six games at 4K: Anno 117, ARC Raiders, Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Forbidden West, Satisfactory, and The Last of Us Part II.
  • Native rendering used TAA, while DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4 ran in their Quality presets, and DLAA was excluded to keep the focus on upscaling.
  • Intel’s XeSS was not included, and the poll asked voters to pick the best image quality based on identical gameplay footage.
