Dispatch Gets Free HR Violations Pack to Roll Back Switch Censorship

The DLC gives players selectable coverage levels and visual filters despite Nintendo rules that keep genitals and certain audio muted.

Overview

  • AdHoc Studio released the HR Violations Pack on June 17, 2026, as free DLC for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 to reduce the heavy black-box edits that drew player complaints at launch.
  • The update adds player-selectable coverage settings (Partial or Full) and three visual styles (Mosaic, Chaotic/jorts, Blackout) so users can choose how required edits are shown.
  • Core platform limits remain: Nintendo requires genitalia to stay censored and the audio in Invisigal’s dream sequence remains muted, and some Asian regions are restricted to Full Coverage by default.
  • The same censorship options have been added as choices on Steam and PS5 with uncensored defaults in most regions, and AdHoc says Xbox will get the options when its port launches this summer.
  • AdHoc apologised and said the switch build was overly censored because the team used one build to meet the strictest regional rating, and players can install the DLC via the Nintendo eShop DLC menu.
