Disney’s Bluey Attraction at Animal Kingdom Moves From Virtual Queue to Standby

The change reflects easing demand after the opening surge and will let guests join a traditional line on arrival.

Overview

  • Disney confirmed that Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station will stop using the My Disney Experience virtual queue and open a standby queue starting June 2, 2026.
  • The virtual queue will remain active through June 1 with two daily enrollment windows at 7:00 a.m. (guests may join from anywhere with valid admission) and 10:00 a.m. (guests must be inside the park), and each guest may join once per day.
  • Disney moved to standby after opening-day boarding groups filled almost instantly on May 26 and then showed noticeably more availability in the 10:00 a.m. drops over the next days, indicating demand eased enough to restore a regular line.
  • Operational rules that affect visits will stay in place: access requires boarding the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe Market, only folding strollers are allowed on the train, and the Bluey area closes earlier than the rest of the park at about 3:45 p.m.
  • Disney said virtual queues remain a tool it can reintroduce if needed, and the change follows the company’s pattern of using temporary virtual boarding for high-demand openings before returning to standby lines.
