Overview
- Disney announced the DVC Star View Station in Tomorrowland will close temporarily later this month and remain closed through fall 2026 for a planned refurbishment.
- An interim DVC member lounge will open inside a sectioned area of the Starcade near the Space Mountain exit and will offer lounge seating plus complimentary snacks and drinks with roughly 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. hours.
- Under normal operation the Star View Station is reserved for eligible Disney Vacation Club members and provides seating, an upper terrace, free Wi‑Fi, device charging, a children’s area, beverage stations and on-site DVC Member Services.
- Disney has not released any specifics about the scope of the work, and the timing draws attention because the lounge sits in the former west-coast Carousel of Progress building and Walt Disney World’s Carousel of Progress has also recently closed.
- Members will keep access to key services during the closure, and the details to watch for are whether Disney preserves original murals and exhibits or makes broader changes and when the company will announce a firm reopening date.
