Overview
- Disneyland revealed the joint window above the Crystal Arts shop on Tuesday, April 21, during a morning ceremony attended by Kim Irvine, Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald, Disneyland Resort president Jill Estorino, the Dapper Dans, Mickey Mouse, and a Madame Leota character.
- The glass is styled as the Crystal Ball Glass Co. and reads “Summoning the spirits of creativity…on windows, doors and…regions beyond!”, tying the honor to the Haunted Mansion séance motif.
- It marks the first time a mother and daughter have been recognized together with a Main Street, U.S.A. window at Disneyland.
- Kim Irvine retired in 2025 after more than five decades shaping and caring for Disneyland as Executive Creative Director, and she is set to be named a Disney Legend at D23 this August, while Leota Toombs was inducted in 2009.
- Main Street windows are a selective park honor typically given upon retirement, with wording and design agreed on by park leaders and Walt Disney Imagineering to reflect an honoree’s lasting impact.
