Disneyland Unveils 2026 Holiday Program Featuring New Character Looks and Santa’s Move

The resort’s multi-park package alters character meet-and-greets, relocates Santa to Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn, confirms returning nighttime shows, and sets limited hotel booking windows.

Overview

  • Disneyland Resort confirmed on Wednesday that the 2026 holiday season will run Nov. 13, 2026 through Jan. 6, 2027 and released a full schedule covering both parks, resort hotels, and Downtown Disney.
  • Mickey, Minnie and several character friends will debut brand-new holiday outfits in Town Square that lean on a winter travel and alpine-gathering theme.
  • Santa’s traditional Fantasyland Theatre meet-and-greet has been moved to Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn, a change driven by the Fantasyland Theatre hosting the Bluey show during the season.
  • Fan-favorite overlays and shows are returning, including A Christmas Fantasy Parade, Believe...In Holiday Magic fireworks, Haunted Mansion Holiday (with its 25th gingerbread anniversary), it’s a small world Holiday, and World of Color – Season of Light.
  • The resort teased guest-facing offerings that affect planning: the Disney Festival of Holidays with six marketplaces and a Sip and Savor Pass, hotel holiday décor and dining events, a limited hotel discount that opens for booking Sept. 22, and separate paid tour and dining package windows to be posted later; one outlet’s Nov. 12 start-date for the season differs from the resort’s published Nov. 13 date.
