Themed hotel installs push Halloween beyond the parks after multi-team work with Pixar and Imagineering secured character approvals.

Overview

  • All three on-site hotels at Disneyland Resort are decorated for Halloween Time through October 31, 2026, with installations confirmed in early September.
  • Pixar Place Hotel received its first-ever Monsters, Inc. Halloween makeover featuring artwork of Mike, Sulley, Boo and other characters.
  • Disney credits digital artist Brett Snodgrass of the Resort Enhancement team for leading the Pixar Place designs after roughly two years of development.
  • The Disneyland Hotel is dressed in Haunted Mansion–inspired décor that includes a large backdrop, Stretching Room–style portraits, gargoyle candelabra details, and Hitchhiking Ghost designs on elevator doors.
  • Disney’s Grand Californian features an elaborate, edible Nightmare Before Christmas confectionery display and seasonal treats, and the hotel-themed offerings are intended to extend guest experiences beyond park admission.
