Disneyland Removes 11:00 a.m. Park‑Hopper Rule Effective June 9, 2026

The change restores same‑day park-to-park freedom but keeps reservations and capacity limits to manage crowding.

Overview

  • Disneyland posted the policy change on May 19 and said the 11:00 a.m. restriction will end on June 9, 2026, letting Park Hopper ticket holders and Magic Key passholders move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure at any time, subject to availability.
  • When the change takes effect guests will still need to select a starting park when they make a reservation, but they will no longer be required to physically scan into that park before entering the other one.
  • Park reservations and Disneyland’s capacity controls remain in place, so guests may be denied entry to a park that has reached capacity and Magic Key holders remain subject to pass blockout dates.
  • The update restores morning flexibility that many locals and frequent visitors have missed, easing logistics for dining reservations, ride plans, and short visits while not guaranteeing access during peak days.
  • The 11:00 a.m. rule began after the parks’ 2021 reopening (it started as a 1:00 p.m. limit and moved to 11:00 a.m. in early 2023), and the change follows similar park‑hopping relaxations elsewhere in Disney parks as operations shift back toward pre‑pandemic patterns.
