Overview
- Disneyland Paris announced Wednesday that Crush’s Coaster will close in September 2026 for an approximately ten-month refurbishment and is expected to return in summer 2027.
- The work is focused on technical modernization: teams will replace control systems, sensors, communication equipment and selected sections of track to improve safety and reliability.
- The program is split into two phases with the first concentrating on hardware and system replacements and the second dedicated to extensive testing and technical validation before reopening.
- Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Design & Delivery, Maintenance, the Central Workshops and external contractors have spent months preparing to carry out the overhaul.
- Alongside behind-the-scenes updates, crews will clean, repaint and repair show scenes from the Finding Nemo–themed experience, and the closure is likely to shift guest demand to other popular attractions until the ride reopens.
