Overview
- Disneyland Resort announced the Youngling Saber Building Expo will begin May 22 and run for a limited time at Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
- The experience is designed for children ages 3 to 9 who must be accompanied by an adult and is billed as an interactive session rather than a purchase-inclusive build.
- Participants join a themed group called the Loth‑Cat Crew to assemble and learn about lightsaber parts during the workshop, but the finished saber is not automatically theirs to keep.
- Guests who want to take a lightsaber home will be offered the option to buy one at the end of the session and details on pricing, dates, and hours will be posted on Disneyland.com/SavisWorkshop starting May 22.
- The move gives families a lower-cost way to step inside Savi’s Workshop, which opened with Galaxy’s Edge in 2019 and normally ties access to a paid, roughly $249.99 lightsaber build.
