- The Celebrate Happy birthday edition ran at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, and paused on Main Street so guests could hear Walt Disney’s 1955 dedication speech and sing “Happy Birthday.”
- The cavalcade featured a giant cake float, Disney princesses on a dedicated float, Duffy and ShellieMay, the Dapper Dans, the Disneyland Band, and costumed performers drawing on the park’s 70th Celebration look.
- Route coverage and photo/video reports show the procession moved down Main Street, U.S.A., circled in front of the Main Street Railroad Station, and began near the it’s a small world area before ending in Town Square.
- Disney’s D23 shared archival ‘fun facts’ about the park’s creation and the Main Street Opera House ran related displays and programming to highlight Disneyland’s history.
- Guests could also buy short-term anniversary offerings during the visit, including Oga’s Cantina’s limited-time Alderaanian Fizz, while the wider 70th Celebration continues at the resort through August 9, 2026.
