Disneyland Launches Free Loth‑Cat Crew Lightsaber Experience at Savi’s Workshop
The daytime interactive program lets children take part in Savi’s Workshop’s ritual without a souvenir to broaden access to the park’s premium lightsaber storytelling.
Overview
- Disneyland is running a limited-time Loth‑Cat Crew experience at Black Spire Outpost that uses a standby queue from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is free to participate in.
- The session is interactive only and does not include a lightsaber, but participants are offered the option to purchase a completed saber at the end of the experience for the standard Savi’s Workshop price.
- Savi’s Workshop has moved its paid, reservation-only build hours to afternoons and evenings, now taking bookings roughly from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Disney describes the offering as youngling-focused and recommends it for ages 3–9 while allowing ‘those who are kids at heart’ to join subject to capacity, preserving the four themed hilt ‘paths’ and kyber crystal choices used in the full build.
- The program expands low-cost access to the flagship customization ritual that has been a premium, paid experience since Galaxy’s Edge opened, and it may drive daytime interest and sales for families who try the free session and then choose to buy a saber.
