Overview
- Disney confirmed Tuesday, July 28 that the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration will conclude on July 31 and the ten promotion-specific perk categories will no longer be available beginning August 1.
- The departing perks cover two tiers of dining discounts, a lineup of exclusive merchandise and collectibles, five specialty Joffrey’s beverages, an EPCOT passholder lounge in Restaurant Marrakesh, a Karamell-Küche cake pop, and a Passholder-only character meet-and-greet.
- Some of the most consequential losses are the 20% and 40% table-service discounts that applied at locations including Be Our Guest, The Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Hollywood & Vine, Tiffins, and Tusker House.
- Passholders who want the Ashley Taylor popcorn bucket, Joey Chou tumbler, Woody & Buzz magnet, lounge access with complimentary snacks and a PhotoPass Magic Shot, or the exclusive drinks must claim them by July 31.
- Disney marketed these offers as a time-limited summer promotion that began May 1 rather than permanent benefit changes, but the expiration may reduce short-term incentives that drove extra visits and on-site spending this season.
