Disney World Tightens Transit, Parking, Stroller and Ride Rules

Overview

• Resort-bound buses and boats from Disney Springs now require a hotel or valid dining reservation, a policy Disney made permanent on June 28, 2026, and Cast Members are checking reservations before guests board.
• On special merchandise event days Disney Springs parking garages and rideshare loops remain closed until 7 a.m., and drivers or rideshare passengers who arrive earlier can be told to leave and return when access opens.
• Only foldable strollers are allowed aboard the Wildlife Express Train to Conservation Station, so families must fold compatible strollers or leave larger strollers in Africa before visiting Bluey’s Wild World.
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopened after a lengthy refurbishment and its minimum height requirement was lowered from 40 inches to 38 inches following a safety review, allowing more younger children to ride.
• Cast Members are actively enforcing all of these policies, which formalize crowd-control measures used during peak periods and mean guests should check reservations, parking notices, stroller rules, and ride heights before visiting.
