- After classes, teachers, administrators, and staff at the host schools received complimentary Walt Disney World theme park tickets during appreciation events.
- The funding backs all five public school districts and groups including Elevate Orlando, A Gift for Teaching, the Orlando Philharmonic Young People's Concert, and Disney Musicals in Schools through the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
- Cool Kids’ Summer runs May 26 through September 8, and local leaders say the tie-in will expand access to programs that build skills in STEM, literacy, and the arts.
