Disney World Pilots Designated Quick-Service Lines for Allergy Orders

Routing guests to chefs for in-person consultations creates a written record showing whether a consult occurred.

Overview

  • Guest reports published by fan and trade sites say select resort quick-service counters now display “Allergy Request Orders Here” signage directing allergy requests to a separate ordering point.
  • Sightings have been reported at Disney’s Art of Animation, All-Star Movies and Port Orleans — French Quarter, but those reports come from guests and a fan site rather than an official Disney announcement.
  • The dedicated ordering points are meant to let guests speak directly with a chef or manager before placing an order instead of waiting in the regular queue for a consult.
  • Guests report receipts now show language such as “accept consult” after an in-person consult and “decline consult” for orders placed via Mobile Order or the allergy menu without a chef consultation.
  • The change builds on Disney’s existing allergy protocol—purple trays, allergy labels and tablet ingredient lookups—and could speed and document allergy requests for families if the selective pilot expands.
