- The Carousel of Progress will close for a multi-stage refurbishment starting July 6, 2026 and will be reworked into decade-themed acts with a new Walt Disney animatronic and an updated “possible future” scene timed for a 2027 reopening.
- LEVEL99 opened at Disney Springs on June 29, 2026, offering 63 life-sized mini-games, group challenge play and food and drink service with tickets starting at $29.99 per player.
- Disney confirmed key elements of the Monsters, Inc. land—officially called Monstropolis—including a show in the Glob Theater, a full-scale Harryhausen’s restaurant and a H.U.M.A.N. Day event that invites guests to experience life inside the monster city.
- A new BoardWalk venue named Hurly-Burly will replace the nightlife gap left by JellyRolls with family-friendly daytime activities that shift to a 21+ live music lounge at night, and EPCOT’s Eat to the Beat lineup was released along with Food & Wine Festival dates running August 27 to November 21, 2026.
- Together these moves update long-running attractions and expand IP-driven experiences, which could change guest planning and on-site spending patterns as Disney stages openings, festivals and refurbishments through 2026 and into 2027.
