Overview
- Magic Kingdom will run a special patriotic fireworks show and temporarily pause its regular nighttime production while EPCOT will add a short Independence Day finale after its main show, concentrating evening crowds from July 3–5.
- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is set to close on July 6 for an extensive refurbishment that Disney expects will keep the attraction closed through 2027.
- LEVEL99, an interactive, ticketed entertainment venue in the former NBA Experience building, opens at Disney Springs just before the start of July and is expected to draw evening visitors to the West Side.
- Grand Floridian Cafe will close for renovations in the second half of July with brunch service moved to Citricos, and several retail and dining locations including Big Top Souvenirs, La Signature, and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace will remain unavailable into July.
- Extended Evening Hours will continue for guests at Disney Deluxe properties, and large construction projects such as the Piston Peak/Cars expansion and the Tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom will keep walkways, views, and guest circulation changing through the summer.
