Disney to Make MagicMobile Passes Live in Apple Wallet With iOS 27

MagicMobile passes will auto‑update trip details in Wallet, reducing the need to open My Disney Experience.

Overview

  • Disney confirmed in mid‑June that it will support Apple Wallet’s iOS 27 enhanced keys so MagicMobile passes become live, auto‑updating credentials.
  • The upgraded pass will surface park reservations, Lightning Lane selections, special event tickets, dining bookings and upcoming trips directly inside Apple Wallet.
  • The feature is tied to the iOS 27 rollout expected this fall and will require guests’ devices to run iOS 27 to access the new functionality.
  • Guests must still use the My Disney Experience app to make or change Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations and other bookings because the Wallet pass only displays that information.
  • Disney continues to support MagicBands and related hardware for now but the Wallet upgrade strengthens a phone‑first option that could reduce demand for paid wearables and cut operational costs.
