Disney Tightens Resort Transport Rules for Halloween Nights

The measures are intended to reduce late‑night crowding and preserve scheduled transit service.

Overview

  • Disney confirmed Friday that it is enforcing three transport restrictions for Mickey’s Not‑So‑Scary Halloween Party nights across the resort.
  • Guests trying to board buses or the Sassagoula River Cruise from Disney Springs may be asked to show a Disney resort room key or a qualifying dining or experience reservation.
  • Visitors using a dining or experience reservation to board from Disney Springs can only get on the appropriate resort bus up to two hours before that reservation.
  • Disney prohibits alcohol of any kind on resort buses and watercraft, which requires guests to finish or dispose of drinks before boarding.
  • Complimentary buses, monorails, boats and the Skyliner operate only in published windows—generally starting about 45 minutes before park open and ending roughly one hour after close—so late‑night partygoers should plan alternative transport to avoid denied boarding or extra costs.
