Disney Sets Up Themed Walls for Passholder-Only EPCOT Meet and Greet Starting May 1
The setup carves out a private character space inside a public pavilion to manage crowds.
Overview
- Inside EPCOT’s Magic Eye Theatre lobby, reporters spotted new gray panels with Pixar short-film art on Wednesday, along with stanchions and ropes that seal the area from day guests.
- The Annual Passholder-exclusive meet and greet runs May 1 through July 31 and operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Disney has not named the characters and says Passholders will meet “some of Mickey Mouse’s best pals.”
- The panels do not reach the ceiling and appear temporary, matching the Short Film Festival decor as signs remain blank and certain doors are roped off to shape the queue.
- The EPCOT meet and greet anchors V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, which also offers a lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh, special dining discounts, a Toy Story magnet, a popcorn bucket, and Passholder merchandise.
