- Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Songs in Sign Language will debut on April 27 in honor of National Deaf History Month.
- The sequences feature “The Next Right Thing” (Frozen II), “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” (Encanto), and “Beyond” (Moana 2).
- Director Hyrum Osmond led a team of more than 20 animators, creating mostly new animation tailored for authentic ASL performance.
- Deaf West Theatre collaborated on the adaptations with artistic director DJ Kurs, sign-language choreographer Catalene/Caalene Sacchetti, and eight performers.
- A behind-the-scenes featurette will accompany the release, highlighting the creative process and collaboration.
