Disney Says Experiences Reach Every U.S. State, Citing $67 Billion Impact

A $30 billion parks investment through 2033 will expand Disney’s supplier network across all 50 states.

Overview

  • Disney released company-sourced figures in late June saying Disney Experiences generates nearly $67 billion in annual U.S. economic impact, supports more than 403,000 jobs, and works with thousands of small businesses nationwide.
  • The company highlighted the reimagined Soarin’ Across America as a concrete example of that reach, with the attraction now open at Walt Disney World and set to launch July 2 at Disneyland after production work across multiple U.S. locations.
  • Disney named specific partners from every region, including PGAV Destinations (Missouri) and Richloom (New York), to show how design, textiles, tourism operators, manufacturers, and food suppliers feed into park projects.
  • The $30 billion pledge for domestic parks and experiences through 2033 will fund new lands and attractions such as Piston Peak, Monstropolis, Tropical Americas, Avatar and Coco additions, creating ongoing contracts and hiring for suppliers and contractors.
  • While Florida and California remain the largest local engines—accounting for tens of millions of visitors and a large share of regional jobs—Disney’s release stresses that long-term supplier relationships spread economic benefits to communities in all 50 states.
