Overview
- Disney published new concept art and a Parks Blog construction update Tuesday that reveal the resort lobby, three dining venues, and a two-story fireworks lounge for Disney Lakeshore Lodge.
- The lobby draws on Pocahontas themes through a fiber-optic ‘river’ in the floor, a blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture of suspended leaves, floor-to-ceiling windows and river-recovered cypress accents to bring The Wetlands into the arrival experience.
- Disney confirmed three dining concepts: Moonglade, a lakefront table-service restaurant focused on seasonal local ingredients; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a poolside bar inspired by plein-air painting.
- Dandelion Terrace is a two-story lounge and gallery designed for Magic Kingdom fireworks views over Bay Lake but Disney has not yet said who will have access to the space or how reservations and pricing will work.
- The update marks a visible redesign from the original Reflections plan — outlets noted the earlier Pocahontas statue no longer appears in concept art — and Disney will release more details about room types, DVC allocation and booking in future Letters from Lakeshore updates.
