Disney Launches Year-Long Winnie the Pooh Centenary With New Merch and Publishing Push

Disney marks the kickoff with a tribute video as product and book rollouts continue through the October 1926 publishing anniversary.

  • Disney began the centenary campaign on March 10 with a new YouTube tribute video and immediate retail drops, with further releases slated throughout 2026.
  • New merchandise includes two LEGO Disney sets (a detailed Pooh figure at $149.99 and Piglet’s Birthday Fun at $39.99), Just Play’s Hunny Hugs plush and Hunny Crew blind boxes, and three new Funko POP! figures.
  • Apparel and accessories span Loungefly, Vera Bradley, Gap, Old Navy, Primark and more, with additional lines from Kyte Baby, Cakeworthy, Casetify, PopSockets, Wet Brush, Wet n Wild, Mad Beauty and GUND rolling out this year.
  • Publishers have issued anniversary reprints and announced new titles, including The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook on March 31, DK’s centenary guide on July 28 and Winnie the Pooh: 100 Mindful Moments on September 22.
  • Disney says the Walt Disney Archives’ historical Pooh artifacts help guide current designs, and regional experiential activations are scheduled for April–May in Los Angeles, Japan, Singapore, London, Paris and Poland.
