Disney Honors Kevin Lansberry With Main Street, U.S.A. Window at Magic Kingdom
The rare honor reflects Disney’s selective Main Street window tradition.
Overview
- Magic Kingdom held a Main Street window ceremony for Kevin Lansberry on April 10, with senior executives Josh D’Amaro and Jeff Vahle in attendance.
- The window is installed on the blue Main Street Bakery facade in the top center row and reads “Main Street Trust & Loan / Kevin Lansberry Director / Care Compassion Commitment / Investing in Making Dreams Come True.”
- Lansberry retired in February after a 39-year Disney career that included roles across parks and a 2023 stint as interim CFO of The Walt Disney Company.
- Per former Imagineering chief Marty Sklar, these windows are awarded only on retirement for exceptional service and require joint approval from park leadership and Walt Disney Imagineering.
- As part of the tradition, the honoree receives a personal copy of the display, and the selective roster of names recently added includes Lillian Disney.
