- Late August 2026 filings with the South Florida Water Management District show Walt Disney Parks and Resorts applied for an 'NSA Dock Expansion' at the North Service Area Marina on Bay Lake.

- Reporters link the filing to other Bay Lake activity — a fourth Magic Kingdom ferryboat named the Meg Gilbert Crofton under construction and unconfirmed cast-member reports of two vessels for the new Lakeshore Lodge — meaning the paperwork may be capacity planning rather than an immediate guest-facing project.
