- Disney confirmed a temporary Cool Kid Summer activation called “Goofy’s ultimate playground” will open in EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall beginning Tuesday, May 26 and run through September 8.
- The activation will center on indoor DJ dance parties and named interactive games such as Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ’n’ Pipsqueaks to create family-focused entertainment during the busy summer season.
- CommuniCore Hall was closed earlier in May to prepare the space for the season-long takeover while the adjacent CommuniCore Plaza and the Mickey & Friends meet-and-greet remain open.
- Goofy’s visibility on property will expand beyond EPCOT with scheduled meet-and-greets, character dining at locations like Tusker House, Chef Mickey’s and Cape May Cafe, and appearances in attractions including The Barnstormer and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
