Disney Expands Good to Go Days With First July Reservation-Free Dates

The change gives Annual Passholders more same-day park access without changing pass blockouts or park capacity limits.

Overview

  • Walt Disney World announced Tuesday that it added June 30, July 8 and July 9 to its Good to Go Days calendar, extending reservation-free access into July for eligible Annual Passholders.
  • Good to Go Days let passholders enter a theme park without a theme park reservation but do not override pass-tier blockouts or park capacity limits, so entry is not guaranteed.
  • If a guest already held a park reservation for a date that becomes a Good to Go Day, Disney automatically removes that reservation so it no longer counts against the guest’s reservation hold limit though it remains visible in My Disney Experience.
  • Separately, Disney moved two Extended Evening Hours Wednesday slots from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom for August 26 and September 2, with Animal Kingdom running from 6 PM to 8 PM and four attractions scheduled to operate.
  • The new dates join earlier 2026 Good to Go releases and reporters say Disney has been adding dates incrementally this year and may add more based on projected attendance, making short-notice visits easier for local and frequent passholders.
