- The Disney+ documentary Worldbuilders, released Thursday, offers new on-camera explanations from Bob Iger and Imagineering leaders for picking Yas Island as the site for Disneyland Abu Dhabi.
- Miral Group will finance, develop and build the resort while The Walt Disney Company provides creative design, brand licensing and operational guidance, a formal public–private partnership first announced in May 2025.
