Disney Confirms Targeted Updates to France, Canada and Mexico Pavilions at EPCOT
The changes show sponsorship and small-scale refurbishments are altering familiar shops, restaurants and guest flow across World Showcase.
Overview
- Disney confirmed that La Signature, the Guerlain boutique in the France pavilion, closed for an extended refurbishment beginning June 8 and is expected to return later in 2026.
- The Refreshment Port in the Canada pavilion closed earlier this year and crews are visibly converting the building into La Poutinerie, a new Air Canada–sponsored dining venue.
- Work on the Mexico pyramid remains phased with one entrance recently reopened while a second entrance is still closed and scaffolded, though shops, restaurants and the Gran Fiesta Tour continue to operate.
- None of the projects add major new attractions; instead they change retail, dining and circulation elements that shape how repeat visitors experience each pavilion.
- The updates reflect a broader pattern at EPCOT where smaller, sponsor-driven projects and routine maintenance reshape longtime landmarks and alter guest routines over time.
