Disney Closes Beach Club Villas Walkway Midday During Resort Refurbishment

Disney has closed the path to Beach Club Villas from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rerouting guests between EPCOT and the hotel.
Crews have removed blue siding and installed temporary yellow panels that are expected to be painted after installation.
Sections of the exterior show exposed weather-proof sheathing and steel framing, with some windows missing their white trim.
The Tidal Pool and nearby restrooms are shut, and the small restroom building now lacks roofing with black sheathing visible.
Some guest rooms are offline during this phase, which follows a 2023 lobby refresh and last year’s pool and porte cochere work and is scheduled through 2027.
