- Disney Branded Television appointed Atiya Henry as executive vice president of production, which was announced Wednesday by President Ayo Davis and production chief Carol Turner.
- Henry will oversee production for animated and live-action programming across Disney+, Disney Junior, and Disney Channel, including Descendants, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Phineas and Ferb.
- She comes from Netflix's drama division after about seven years overseeing series such as Firefly Lane, Sweet Magnolias, Ransom Canyon, Raising Dion, and the planned Little House on the Prairie reboot.
