Overview
- Tuesday’s update adds Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to the Airport Luggage Transfer program, bringing the total participating hotels to six and marking the first time the service has crossed from Value to Moderate properties.
- The service remains limited to domestic flights on American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines and requires guests to register between 30 days and 24 hours before their flight.
- BagCheck operates the transfers, delivery can take up to about four hours after a flight lands, luggage tags are mailed if you register more than seven days ahead, and certain items such as medications, electronics, perishables and important documents must stay in carry-on bags.
- The pilot covers only baggage movement and does not provide passenger transportation to the airport, and Disney has not announced any timeline or list of additional resorts or airlines to be added.
- The program began at Pop Century in March 2025 and expanded stepwise to all five Value resorts and three carriers, and adding Caribbean Beach — chosen for its size and Skyliner hub — signals Disney is validating operations before broader scaling, which could ease arrivals and departures for more guests if extended.
