Overview
- Walt Disney World expanded the pilot Tuesday, May 19, to cover American and United flights at Orlando International Airport, joining Southwest for eligible domestic itineraries.
- The service, run by third-party BagCheck, is limited to the five Value Resorts and lets arrivals skip baggage claim with hotel delivery or departures drop bags at the resort to bypass airline check-in.
- Guests register online 30 days up to 24 hours before travel, receive a tracking link, and get mailed tags if they enroll more than seven days ahead, with bags typically delivered within about four hours of landing.
- For the trip home, Disney requires early drop-offs at Luggage Assistance, including by 1:00 a.m. for flights before 1:00 p.m. or at least four hours before later flights, and standard airline baggage fees still apply.
- Disney describes the offering as a limited test with potential to expand and notes it is separate from the retired Magical Express bus service once operated by Mears.
