Discovery Cove Revives Paradise Nights as After-Hours Dinner Show

The summer event shifts the experience from animal encounters to a four-act production with upscale dining.

Overview

  • Discovery Cove, which announced the return Tuesday, will run the separately ticketed event on select nights from June 5 through Aug. 8 with limited capacity and recommended advance reservations.
  • Guests check in at 5:30 p.m., begin with a Serenity Bay happy hour, then dine at Laguna Grill with an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet and included beer and wine for ages 21 and up.
  • A new live show plays out in four themed acts inspired by Earth, Air, Water, and Fire while all waterways stay closed and the prior dolphin presentation is not included.
  • Tickets start at $117 for adults and $53 for children, and an optional $59 sloth encounter offers priority check-in and behind-the-scenes access for only 10 guests per night.
  • Day visitors who also hold evening tickets may remain in the park and use showers and changing rooms, a convenience that fits Discovery Cove’s resort-style, limited-capacity model.
